F.A.Q.

Here are some questions we’ve received….

A green pool is an indication that your pool has algae infestation. You will need to have an algae removal/prevention treatment done on your pool immediately.

In the summertime the high temperatures provide a perfect environment for algae growth. The high temperature also speeds up the evaporation of chlorine ( sanitizing agent) and combined with perhaps a low stabilizer agent (CYA) which helps protect the chlorine from evaporating. It is critical that all of your chems in the pool are perfectly balanced. Aqua Blu gives you that perfect balance by using the digital water analysis to give not only accurate readings of your chem levels but a specific amount of each chemical to add to bring them back toa perfect balance.

A salt water pool actually does still require chlorine use.,It just produces its own chlorine. Salt is an ionic compound with the chemical formula NaCL, sodium (Na) and chlorine (Cl). Having the saltwater pass through the T-Cell where by electrolysis the salt and chlorine are separated and the system will disburse the correct amount of chlorine back to the pool. If you have a saltwater pool it is critical to verify the salt reading the system panel is reading and what the actual salt level is in the pool. If they don’t match then your T-cell probably needs either cleaned and or replaced. Inside the T-cell a by-product of the electrolysis is calcification and the build up inside preventing a proper chlorine production level.
